A lead ore-crushing mill built in 1878-9; the 34-ft diameter wheel dominates the site. Two smaller waterwheels also in working order. A further 18 ft underground waterwheel is used for pumping. Cafe, woodland walks, shop, exhibitions. Guided mine tours.
