An 18th century watermill which has now been restored to working order. There is a low breastshot waterwheel. Milling normally takes place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays. The mill is also the social history museum for the borough of Welwyn Hatfield, and has a full programme of events, exhibitions and activities all year round.
