Lacey Green Windmill
Windmill
A 4-storey smock mill, built around 1650, that was in use until 1915. Restored to turning order by The Chiltern Society since 1971. The sails no longer turn the original compass arm brake wheel, due to the age of the machinery, but the cap is alllowed to turn to keep the sails facing into the wind.
