Notts and Derbys Group visit to Bolsover Castle and Christmas lunch at Arkwright Arms

Join the Notts and Derbys Group on a visit to a castle known for its rich history, captivating architecture and stunning views over the Vale of Scarsdale.

Bolsover Castle is managed and maintained by English Heritage and we shall have a guided tour by one of their volunteers. It was created in Stuart times by yet another member of the Cavendish family, William. 

We shall combine the visit with our usual Christmas lunch.

You will need 

The tour will involve looking at parts indoors and also outdoors so sensible footwear and an umbrella is advisable.
