Join the Sussex Group for an exclusive tour of Compton Place, the summer retreat of the Dukes of Devonshire until the mid-20th Century. Since that time it has been let out as a language school for many years.
We will be taken round parts of the building by Tony Hennell who until recently was the school’s long-serving property manager. He is now retired but knows the building well and has kindly agreed to come out of retirement to give us this tour.

Please wear sturdy footwear.

If you’re travelling by train, the nearest station is Eastbourne.
If driving, park in the main car park.
Meet outside the main entrance at 2pm.
