Event details
Wednesday 16 April 10am – 1pm
Join the Wales and Marches Group on a visit to the Church of St. James’s, Llangua, where the conservation builders, Jones and Fraser, have been undertaking repair works to the roof. Director, Tom Jones, will give a talk on the work they have been doing there for the building owners, Friends of Friendless Churches.
The group will meet at nearby Grosmont, Monmouthshire, to share the journey on to the church. Parking at the church is very limited.
There will be time at the end of the visit to explore the church and churchyard before travelling back to Grosmont.
There is a village shop and the Angel Inn in Grosmont for food. Although not a part of this tour, Grosmont Castle is well worth a visit.

Please wear warm, comfortable layers and sturdy and closed-toed shoes. We recommend bringing a raincoat or umbrella as part of it will be outdoors.
